UNVEILING KADUNA’s BIG IGBO BUSINESSMEN + HOW THEY CONTROL MEGA BUSINESSES

Kaduna State has a large number of wealthy Igbo businessmen who control the spare parts, building materials and property market. Due to their giant strides in their various fields of endeavours, their investments in the city of Kaduna run into Billions of Naira. Some of them have conveniently built many gigantic buildings, Shopping Complex and Hotels, Most of it are located on the very busy Ahmadu Bello way in Kaduna. Kings Ibeh is one of the Super rich Igbo big boys in Kaduna State. KC. Ibeh as he is popularly called is the owner of KC Holdings Limited, a company that is into water supply, building and structural engineering . His company building is a few minutes drive from the Ahmadu Bello Stadium. It’s the same with his younger brother known as Maxwel, he is a businessman who ventured into hospitality business as he is the CEO of Clamax Hotel in Sabon Tasha Area of Kaduna.

David Obiora is another highly successful businessman in the state. The former system developer at Bank of Agriculture, Kaduna is the CEO of Khemsafe Computers and Communication Limited, a house-hold name when it comes to computer related issues. He has been in the business for years and has a large network of foreign and domestic supplies of computers and accessories. Khemsafe is located on Constitution Road Kaduna, with an imposing edifice “Khemsafe House”  which has several branches in cities like Lagos, Gusau, Enugu, Port Harcout, Abuja and Sokoto.

Chimma Nnaedozie is another Igbo big boy who has done well for himself. He is the man behind Micro Mana, a leading company that deals in Computer, Peripherals and Accessories. His gigantic office building called. “GIDAN MANNA” is located also in Constitution Road Opposite Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna. The very wealthy chap holds a BSC in Mathematics from University of Nigeria Nsukka. Austin Achilike company Skyblind Nigeria Limited deals big in sales and supply of electronic and electrical system. He is also into Interior & Exteriror Decorations.

The CEO of De Nevilla Hotel and Kent Merchandise is another big boy. Kenneth Ngajiofor’s name rings a bell, anywhere in the social circle, his Hotel De Nevilla Hotel is a 3-star Hotel located in Kaduna North, just as you enter the Rigo Road New Extension.



Kent Merchandise, equipment is located at Junction Road in Kaduna North with a branch at Sky Memorial Complex, Wuse Zone 5, Abuja.

Another big player in hospitality business is Chief I.G Ekwujuru, He is the man behind Access Hotel, a Classic Hotel that meets international standard.

Among his many businesses is Negic Tractors part. Both Access Hotel and Negic Tractor parts are located along the structurally fast developing road in Kaduna Negic close off constitution road, 2 minutes drive from Ahmadu Bello Stadium Kaduna.

How about Chief Boniface Nnajiofor? The boss of Najico Iron and Steel Company, he deals big in Iron, Steel and construction business. His building is located on Junction Road by Jema’a Road in Kaduna North.

Also is Chief Ibeh, the owner Ahmadu Bello Way Former Bata Building Kaduna North. Chemherry, as he is popularly called, he recently went into hospitality business. He is the proud owner of Chemcherry Hotel on Aliyu Makama Road beside Living Faith Church, Barnawa, Kaduna South.

Chief Francis Oyegbunna,  is the very wealthy boss of FINA White House Hotels spread within Kaduna Metropolis. He also has large interest in Interior Decoration, Computers, Timber and lots more.

Kenneth Uwachukwu owns the popular Kenfeli Palm Beach Hotel which he runs with his wife. He is also very much into Oil and Gas, he owns Kenfeli Oil and Felapet Oil in Kaduna.

Chief D.O. Akunonu is very rich and respected businessman from Nnewi. He has made fortune from plumbing material. This list will not be complete without HRH Sylvanus Aneke, the Eze Ndi Igbo of Kaduna State and a top power broker as well.Another Igbo big boy that is cleaning out big time is Dr. Aruma, a Medical Doctor whose name rings a bell when it comes to fertility issues. His hospital Giltor Aries located at Barnawa Close in Kaduna South is a Mecca of Sort for Women with fertility issue.
