GOV. AKPABIO HANDS OVER IBOM STADIUM TO NFF

The 30,000 seater  Ibom stadium located at the center of Uyo, the capital of Akwa ibom state has now been handed over to Nigerian Football Federation –NFF as a center where majority of national and international sporting events should be hosted. Governor Obong Godswill Obot Akpabio was elated as he and members of NFF led by newly elected Chairman of NFF Mr Piccnicks went round the 30,000 capacity Ibom stadium that was constructed by Julius Berger Construction Company.  The African Orange championship 2015 Qualifier game with South Africa Bafana bafana  has been fixed at the newly Ibom stadium Uyo.
