IS NIKE OSHINOWO THE NEW MO ABUDU?

Mo Abudu, the 50-year-old lovely executive producer & host of a TV talk show, Moments with Mo, has rocked the airwaves since late-2000s. Her guests have included celebrities, Presidents, Nobel Laureates, and former USA First Lady, Hillary Clinton. Adding to her accomplishments, Mo launched Ebony Life Television on 1 July 2013, airing on DSTV Channel 165. No doubt, she is a phenomenal talk show host, and she’s no stranger to the ‘talk show world’.
Then enters the ever-beautiful 48-year-old former Miss Nigeria, Nike Oshinowo who is debuting a late-night all-encompassing television show. Tagged “Late Night with Nike Oshinowo”, the weekly program debuts Thursday, 27th November 2014 on African Independent Television (AIT). “Late Night with Nike Oshinowo” is an electrifying entertainment and lifestyle late night talk show expected to show the best of art, culture, music, politics and pop-culture.
According to Nike Oshinowo,“At long last, I’m having the opportunity to do part of what I love which is to talk on TV with a live audience. Nigerian viewers will be privy to entertaining conversations from the people they most want to hear from. Anyone and everyone who is moving the needle on pop culture will be welcome on the “Late Night with Nike Oshinowo” couch. My team has researched and is bringing to Nigerians what will become a part of their family routine.”
With Nike Oshinowo’s show coming up in 9 days, the ritual question has been, will she take Mo Abudu’s place? Though daytime talk has plenty of other established players, Mo seems to have earned an enviable position in the industry while it’s sure Nike will creep into the consciousness of her many followers soon as she hits it off!
