APC PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE, MOHAMMADU BUHARI, OPENS TWITTER ACCOUNT

The All Progressives Congress(APC) presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari, has joined Twitter. The creation of the Twitter account, @ThisIsBuhari, is coming as he launches an e-campaign ahead of the 2015 presidential election. As of 6:20pm today, 22nd December 2014, Buhari already has 7,895 followers. Anything coming specifically from him will be signed “-GMB”. In his first tweet at about noon today, Buhari tweeted, “Good afternoon my friends! This will now be my official Twitter handle to communicate with you. – GMB”. Buhari’s running mate, Professor Yemi Osinbajo tweets from @ProfOsinbajo. Former vice-president Atiku Abubakar, whose Twitter account is verified, welcomed Buhari to Twitter 2 hours ago.
