There is currently a fierce battle for the soul of Oyo PDP. All is presently not well in the party as the ward congress of the party in the state have been repeated and twice, the gladiators in the race keep contesting the results. On Monday, 23rd of November, the ward congress was repeated following the cancellation of the previously held congress by the party’s National Working Committee.
The Oyo PDP Congress was monitored by Alhaji Aliyu Idi Hong.But as at last Wednesday, November 26, six out of the eight gubernatorial aspirants in the state, except Engineer Seyi Makinde and Senator Teslim Folarin have vehemently rejected the results and they addressed a petition to the Ward Congress Appeal Panel.
