First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan, absent at PDP Presidential Campaign Flagoff.

Ahead of the 14 February 2015 presidential election, President Goodluck Jonathan, the PDP candidate, is in Lagos for the flagoff of his campaign. The ongoing ceremony at the Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos parades PDP governors, elder statesmen, politicians from across the states of Federation, support groups and others.  Nigeria’s first lady, Dame Patience Jonathan who is significant to this campaign is conspicuously absent at the time of this report.With her position, she is to connect with women and drive turnout among voters. Perhaps she has her reasons, which may be official, for not attending the PDP Presidential Campaign Flagoff.
