DRIVER/SUPPLY ASSISTANT
JOB DESCRIPTION
Successful candidate will among other things perform the following duties: • Drive Supply Chain vehicles within and outside Ibadan to transport deliveries and collections of materials and supplies during out of hours, weekends and or public holidays as required. • Liaise with FMS Workshop to ensure prompt routine vehicles maintenance checks and servicing of all Supply Chain vehicles as at when due. • Cleaning of Supply Chain Vehicles and ensures tools, spare wheel, medical box etc are available. • Record all vehicle journeys in the vehicle logbook. • Ensure safety of vehicle and goods at all times. • Filing of Request for Purchase and Purchase orders analysis sheets. • Assist in impress purchase. • Assist in posting of bids/bid results on notice boards, collation and analysis • Assist in the maintenance of price database. • Perform routine order progressing. • Keep and update registers of Suppliers visited either individually or in company of a Procurement officer. • Perform any other function as may be assigned by the Supervisor.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
OND in Statistics or related field with a valid professional drivers’ license (Class ‘E’) plus at least five (5) years corporate driving.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
• Be conversant with Nigerian roads. • Posses ability to drive long distance with good eye sight. • Be mentally alert and physically fit. • Be able to work under pressure and be ready to work on weekends when necessary. • Pay attention to details, high integrity, good interpersonal and communication skills (Oral & Written).
PERSONAL QUALITIES
