Kwara lawmaker dies after brief illness

The death has been announced of Alhaji Suleiman Sunaboro, a member of the Kwara State House of Assembly who until his death was the Chairman, House Committee on Finance and Appropriation. Sunaboro who represented Ilesha/Gwanara constituency was the second member of the house that would die in the current legislative assembly. It would be recalled that the House in June last year lost a member, Hon. Haliru Mohammed of Kaiama/Wajibe/Kemanji constituency. The deceased were both members of the All Progressives Congress (APC). The Speaker, Mr Rasak Atunwa during yesterday’s plenary announced that Sunaboro died on Wednesday following a brief illness.
