Malta Guinness GameOn has changed my life – Says the winner of the maiden edition, Ajibolade Joseph

The winner of the maiden edition of the Malta Guinness GameOn Reality Show, Ajibolade Joseph, has said that his participation in the event was a life changing experience which he would forever relish.

Joseph, who is also the football coach of Clique Sports Academy, Lagos, won the 13-week series event on the side of Team Football.

The show, which had participants across the country, was organised to find the true ‘Naija’ passion between football and fashion.

Speaking during the presentation of prizes on the premises of Malta Guinness, Joseph said the show also offered him great privilege of meeting, working and sharing ideas with great personalities in different parts of Nigeria.

He said, “Initially, there were challenges, but through team work and team spirit, we were able to get on board and everything went well. The show also inculcated in us the art of working together as a team. It is a life changing experience,” he said.

The Marketing and Innovation Director, Guinness, Mr. Gavin Pike, while presenting the prizes, explained that the idea came from the brand purpose of Malta Guinness fuelling the rise of Naija true passion.

“Choosing fashion and football was a difficult choice, but it was a fantastic place to start with. It gave Nigerians the opportunity to decide the Naija passion and it is amazing that Team Football won 51-49 points,” Pike added.

Apart from the prize money, the winner was also offered a scholarship to the United Kingdom.
