Pastor Adeboye’s son shares RCCG minister’s political post

Three weeks ago, Leke Adeboye, the youngest son of Pastor EA Adeboye, was in the news when he shared on his Facebook timeline a poll put together by Youth Ballot Evolution. According to the poll results, President Jonathan is ahead of APC’s Muhammadu Buhari with 2%. Leke Adeboye deleted this poll off his timeline 24 hours after the news went viral.
Yesterday, the young entrepreneur shared a TAN-sponsored GEJ peppermint which has on it ‘Vote for Goodluck Jonathan’. It’s imperative to note that Leke Adeboye shared this from Redeemed Christian Church of God minister, Bolaji Olanrewaju’s timeline. Bolaji Olanrewaju shared the image with a message ‘What can I say … Keep your breath fresh’. Since the popular music minister shared this message, he’s had comments for and against this.

Esther Olajumoke Ajayi commented: “Uncle BJ, which camp do you actually belong to? Cause I remember seeing u wit Prof Osibanjo sometime.” Taiwo Babalola wrote: “BJ, why u r not a politician, more so, u r more close to d APC ppl. Is better u remove dis post my brother. More closer to d APC, pls no mater what u have with d PDP . abeg commot dis thing abeg. U r a respectable gospel music star dat has already bn embraced by d APC.” Could posting the GEJ peppermint be mockery of the TAN message for Bolaji Olanrewaju whose profile photo is that of Lagos governor & his wife, Mr &Mrs Babatunde Fashola? It could also be a witty message for Leke Adeboye whose father and the church have taken a non-partisan position ahead of the 2015 general elections.
