The senators-elect on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party have adopted Senator Bukola Saraki for the position of Senate President, while Hon. Yakubu Dogara has been adopted for the position of the Speaker of the House of Representatives. This was contained in a statement signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Mr. Olisa Metuh, in Abuja on Tuesday morning at 1:50am. The statement urged its senators and reps to act accordingly by voting for Saraki and Dogara. Members of the National Assembly are expected to elect principal officers today in Abuja.
