The death has been announced of the Managing Director of Sesema Public Relations , Alima Atta. She passed on in the early hours of Saturday, 6th of June, 2015 after a brave battle with cancer. In her lifetime, she was on top of her game as a PR guru. Over the years, her company has spearheaded a lot of perception management campaigns for different local and international brands. Alima Atta had over eighteen years of experience in the fields of marketing and public relations. Prior to starting up Sesema, she worked for MMD Marketing Communications and Anderson Soames, two PR agencies based in the UK, in Consumer Product Management for AT&T in the United States, and in Corporate Communications for Guaranty Trust Bank in Nigeria. Ms Atta had a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from Kingston University, Surrey as well as a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) French and Sociology from University of London.
