Alhaji Gay’s murder: Police arrest Lagos traditional ruler, son, 9 others
Following the murder of Alhaji Tunji Rasak popularly known as Tunji Alaso or Alhaji Gay, the police in Lagos State have arrested 9 people including a traditional ruler and his son in connection with the murder. The arrest of the traditional ruler and some members of Temidire in Alagbado area of the state has made many residents flee their homes for fear of being arrested by the police. Chief Nojeem Abioye, the Baale of Temidire Alagbado and the other suspects are currently being detained at the Criminal Investigation Department of the State Police Command in Panti. In a related development, the driver of Alhaji Gay, Wasiu Adedeji, had, in his statement with the police, identified the leaders of the gang that attacked his boss to include Idowu terror, Olope Ayo and Olori Taofeek.
