EFCC grills Goodluck Jonathan’s kinsman for 9 hours
Former Director-General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, Patrick Akpobolokemi was on Thursday quizzed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC) over some alleged “irregularities” in the agency’s operations during his tenure. Akpobolokemi arrived the commission’s Lagos office in Ikoyi at about 10am and was not released till about 7pm when he was granted bail on self-recognition and ordered to report back to the EFCC office today. Akpobolokemi is being queried over some “questionable transactions” running into billions of naira which he allegedly approved.
