There are reports that the Federal Government will move suspected Boko Haram prisoners out of Ekwulobia in Anambra State very soon.This is coming on the heels of protests by people of the state. Briefing journalists after a close-door meeting with the National Security Adviser’s representatives, Governor Willy Obiano said the Presidency is aware of the position of Anambra residents on the matter and that efforts are being made to take the suspects elsewhere. In his words, Obiano said: “The visitors promised to inform the appropriate authorities of their findings”.
