Gov. Ibikunle Amosun: “760,000 Lagos workers reside in Ogun state”

The Ogun State Governor Senator Ibikunle Amosun has said 2 local governments in the state accommodate about 760,000 Lagos-bound workers. Amosun made this disclosure while speaking with newsmen after a meeting with chairmen of 20 local government areas in his Oke-Mosan office in Abeokuta. To this end, local council development areas(LCDAs) are to be created to further develop these areas.

According to Amosun, “We want to open up our state to greater opportunities. Our unique borders with other states will foster development. We are putting procedures and processes in place. We would go to the House of Assembly and do a referendum on the creation of local council development areas. The committee we have put in place would do the annoucement”.
