…The Many Illegal Activities of the Company and their Deals with Huawei Technologies Nigeria and other companies in Nigeria
Level of the damage inflicted on the Mercedes Benz GL450 4matic vehicle
It began on February 13 at Oniru Estate, when in an incident that can be likened to the popular car race and stunt movie, the Fast & Furious, a Ford Edge belonging to Rosabon Financial Services with full speed ran into a parked Mercedes Benz GL 450 4matic, 2011 model, the impact was so severe that three airbags came out.
Shocked and frightened about the whole thing the man and the driver were rescued from the smoking cars, it was after the incident that the occupants of the car realized that the car is one of the cars leased by Rosabon and that it was actually conveying two staffs of Huawei Technologies Nigeria when the incident happened. Sources present at the scene of the accident explained that the two passengers of the vehicle who are staffs of the IT Company confirmed that the driver conveying them was at fault and that they would prefer the case was settle without involving the police.
Though almost tempted by their approach and the stature of the companies involved as Rosabon Financial Services a company that have amongst its clients blue chip companies like; Etisalat Nigeria, Honeywell, Chevron and many other companies like that and Huawei Technologies Nigeria a company which is well known in the IT world that sells not only IT products but solutions as well, but he was said to have decided later that even if they will be settling things there is need to document it and it was based on this that he insisted on involving the law and this will later work in his favor as the statement taken by the police stated clearly the promise of the company to take care of the car and treat him and his brother who was with him in the car.
Sources revealed further that the Huawei staffs involved in the accident also explained that the accident happened because their driver fell asleep while driving. It only became bizarre because the whole incident happened around 3pm, which means every responsible driver should still be at alert not drowsy, what this implies is that either the driver employed by Rosabon is irresponsible and is not fit to drive in a normal society or that the company that employ him overworks their drivers.
Societygazetteng.com gathered that cars leased out by Rosabon Financial Services, involvement in accidents has become a reoccurrence thing as vehicles belonging to the company leased to other companies and Huawei Technologies Nigeria, have recorded more than twelve accident incidents only this year alone, these could only mean the company’s management is either not safety conscious since they not only provide the vehicles but also the drivers and with the high accidents incidents they may also be employing incompetent drivers or that the drivers are being overworked.
It is important to note that Rosabon Financial Services have more than one hundred exotic cars leased out to different organizations as it was discovered that they have over 50 cars and drivers at the disposal of Huawei Technologies, so when despite accepting that they will be taking care of the wounded owner of the Mercedes Benz GL 450 and his brother who suffered bruises during the accident, the two were forced to pay for their own treatment when it became obvious neither of the two companies will be doing anything than to take care of their staffs involved in the accident.
It was also gathered the companies shows their unreliability after they wrote to the February 13 head on collision accident victim to help them talk to the police to release their damaged car with promise to either repair or replace the car, a promise they have successfully do all in their power not to fulfil.
The companies were even said to be doing virtually nothing in reaching out to the man whose car was destroyed in the accident, not minding the letter they wrote to promise the company will be responsible for the repair or replacement of the Mercedes Benz car.
We were reliably informed that Rosabon Financial Services a company that recently placed advert to offer quick loan and emergency cash to salary earners at the speed of light. With the loan service tagged Rosabon Quick Loan (RQL), the company promised to give out a loan of N1.5 Million within 24 Hours, whereas they refused to fulfil their promise to either repair or replaced the car damaged by their driver despite leaving a note to the effect.
Investigation into the activities of the company shows the company may actually be defrauding the country and Lagos State inform of revenue, as their cars are registered as private instead of commercial and this was even confirmed by the plate numbers on their numerous cars.
The company according to sources are known not to always repair cars affected by their ineptitude and that is the reason their insurance was deliberately planned not to repair or replace cars damaged in accident they caused, whereas the common third party vehicle insurance is to take repair to such cars.
It was however gathered that Rosabon Financial Service Limited and Linkage Assurance and one Christopher Amaechi have been taken to court with regards to the wrecked Mercedes Benz GL 450 by the owner and the case has been fixed for hearing later, while it is hope the decision of the owner will motivate others whose cars have been destroyed by the company to come up against them.
