EMIR OF ILORIN's SISTER, PRINCESS BILKISU GAMBARI-EDEWOR SET TO RUN FOR SENATE!

Bilkisu Gambari-Edewor, daughter of the late Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Zulukaneni Gambari, and sister of the incumbent Emir, has declared her interest to run for the seat of Kwara Central come 2015 on the platform of People’s Democratic Party(PDP). She disclosed this in an open letter to Kwarans Home and in the Diaspora that, “You will recall in 2007 and 2011 I had tried to reach out through SMS text messages and phone calls but this time around I wish to personally inform you that I am offering myself for election as your representative who will truly represent and serve your interests in the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria come 2015 General Elections.

“I came into politics because of the move that burns in my heart for the people of Kwara Central Senatorial District and Kwara State in general. Therefore as in 2007 and 2011, I remain steadfastly committed to the people at the grassroots and I humbly appeal for your full support and prayers to make my choice and election as your Senator a relaity this time around.”  She further stated that, “With the mercy and blessings of the Almighty God the prayers and support of your good self we can translate our hope for true change and freedom into reality by ensiuring my victory at the Primary and General Elections on the platform of unflinching support and undiluted trust under umbrella of our great party (PDP). Together we can win;together we shall win. I intend to keep you informed as we progress with this project. Let’s win this together.”
