PDP NATIONAL CHAIRMAN, ADAMU MU’AZU HAILS NYESOM WIKE



The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu has commended the Minister of State for Education, Chief Nyesom Wike, a Rivers State PDP guber candidate. This commendation is said to be an indication that the party leadership may back the emergence of Wike as the party’s candidate.  Speaking in Rivers State during a programme for empowerment/distribution of relief materials to the traders at the popular Mile 1 Market which was razed down early this year, Mu’azu, who made a donation of N250 million to the traders on behalf the PDP, said: “I want to also commend the effort of Wike, the Minister of State for Education, who has remained dogmatic and very, very, very committed to the cause of the party in the state. He has done a lot of things to the unity of purpose in the party and has brought a lot of encouragement to party men and women in the state and indeed, to us at the headquarters. I’m very happy with the synergy working between him and Total (PDP National Deputy Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus.”
