Rev. Anita Oyakhilome, the Vice-President of the Believers’ Loveworld International aka Christ Embassy, has been absent from the public view for about 10 months, prompting a flurry of speculation about the whereabouts of the estranged wife of Rev. Chris Oyakhilome. Before Anita filed the divorce suit, she was in the United Kingdom branch of the church where she co-ordinated activities and will occasionally come to Nigeria during very important programs. A reason for her withdrawal from the public view has been cited as unspecified personal “discomfort” with the ongoing divorce suit. Alternatively, if the estranged couple do not reconcile their differences, an absolute divorce may be granted in a matter of weeks.
What will further fuel this speculation is if she doesn’t attend the highly-anticipated Christ Embassy’s International Pastors &Partners Conference(IPPC) which kicked off on Monday, 17th November 2014 and will close on Sunday, the 23rd of November 2014. Going by reports, she may make an appearance at this high-profile event where her 1st daughter Sharon is expected to make a music performance on the last day. Attendance at IPPC 2014 is strictly by invitation. Registration is compulsory for all Pastors and eligible Partners.
