About 35 Boko Haram fighters have been arrested in Fotokol, Northern Cameroon following the deadly massacre that more than 100 people were killed. Recall the insurgents murdered residents inside their own homes and at a mosque last Tuesday, leaving many of the dead found with their throats slit. The raid is coming amid a major move by Cameroon and its neighbouring African states against Boko Haram, which has killed thousands and kidnapped hundreds in Nigeria and begun to mount increasingly bloody cross-border raids. One of the insurgents arrested is a 16-year-old boy who says he specialises in slashing throats.
