Following an order by the Federal High Court in Abuja directing the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to accept the senatorial candidates list from the PDP – Senator Andy Uba, Ms. Stella Oduah and Mrs. Uche Ekwunife – the commission has complied by clearing them as the authentic candidates. Prior to this court directive, INEC had cleared Chief Chris Uba, John Emeka and Annie Okonkwo for the Anambra south, central and north senatorial zones respectively.
