Obasanjo’s Associate Dumps PDP For APC: Another Founding Member Of PDP Defects To APC (WHo Is This Founding Member That Is So Close To OBJ?)

A close associate of former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Dr. Femi Majekodunmi, has dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State.
Dr. Majekodunmi, who is the Baagbile of Egbaland, told journalists in Ibadan at the weekend that he took the decision to move to the APC due to the pressure on him by his close associates and supporters across the state and beyond.
He said even though he is a founding member of the PDP, his leaving the party for the APC at this time was primarily to serve the interest of the people better “since the APC has what it takes to take the country to the next level.”
Dr. Majekodunmi, who was a 2011 PDP gubernatorial aspirant, said APC leaders in Ogun State and at the national level “are capable of delivering the dividends of democracy to the people.”
To this end, he said, as a politician whose focus is the welfare of the people, his joining the APC would further help in making this possible.
He called on his supporters and loyalists within Ogun State and all over the country to vote for the APC candidates at all levels in the forthcoming elections, assuring that they will not disappoint them.
