Aralola Olumuyiwa popularly known as Ara is the first female to play the talking drum openly. Ara who dropped out of University to pursue her music career full-time was discovered by Atunda Records, where her stage persona was created and nurtured.

She is now known for her talking drum. Ara who has had the privilege of performing with Stevie Wonder has also performed around the world and graced the presence of Monarchs and Presidents: notably former American President Bill Clinton and United Kingdom’s Queen Elizabeth

The Africa’s foremost female talking drummer, celebrated her 40th birthday recently held at Oriental Hotel, VI.
