Ahead of the first leg of the final qualifying match for the 2016 Olympic football game against the Female Eagles of Mali in Abuja on Saturday, National Telecommunications Carrier and Nigeria’s biggest supporter of football, Globacom has advised the Nigerian female national team, Super Falcons, to work diligently towards qualifying for the competition.
In a press statement issued in Lagos on Thursday, Globacom encouraged the team to go for outright victory to boost its chances of qualifying for the women football event of the 2016 Olympics in Brazil, because “the ticket is a must-have for Nigeria. It’s a crucial encounter which the Falcons must win to make the second leg in Mali a mere formality,” the statement added.
