All Progressives Congress (APC) in Taraba State has concluded plan to drag the winner of the gubernatorial election in the state, Darius Ishaku to the Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Jalingo to seek redress.
In an interview with LEADERSHIP Friday yesterday in Jalingo, the state chairman of the party, Alhaji Hassan Jika Ardo said that the party has already assembled the necessary documents as part of deliberate efforts to get back the mandate the people gave them at the polls.
The APC chairman said that there were rigging by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP agents in variously parts of the state and as a party they lodged their complaint to the Independent National electoral Commission, INEC but several days after, INEC did nothing to stop the irregularities in the election.
He explained that the prominent figures in the PDP were responsible for the rigging of the governorship election and that all the crises that occurred during the election in various parts of the state were caused by the PDP chieftains.
According to the APC chairman, the INEC which was supposed to have been neutral in the conduct of the election to make it free, fair and credible compromised by supporting the PDP to rig the election.
Ardo insisted that as far as he was concern the winner of the governorship election in the state was wrongly declared by INEC, assuring that their gubernatorial candidate would come back from the tribunal as governor-elect.
