Award winning film maker Kunle Afolayan will in a few months time, premiere his new film titled “The CEO” The movie is a new pan African project film that will touch every part of African countries culturally and traditionally, featuring Angelique Kidjo of Benin Republic, a Moroccan actress, Peter King of Kenya and many other stars. This new movie project is a way to unite and promote the beauty of African cultures and to appreciate the richness of our traditions. According to the film maker, the new movie involves cast from China, Europe, America and Africa, “In the past I have always worked with Nigerians but this new movie The CEO cuts across all countries, we are also working with a foreign DP who has the brain of Africa and Nigeria. The new movie will be sponsored and partnered by Adron Homes and Properties and Air France to mention a few corporate sponsors. The deal, which involves serving as the airline’s ambassador, will see the company supporting him on his next movie titled The CEO. Besides, the airline will show Afolayan’s films, including award-winning The Figurine and Phone Swap, during its flights.
General Manager, Air France/KLM, Jean-Raoul Tauzin, said the airline was proud to have Afolayan join the Air France family as a brand ambassador. He said, “if you are familiar with the Air France environment, we have been in Nigeria since 1946, serving the country, and its citizens. We are very pleased that we have someone very famous and international to represent our brand. “As you may know, Air France has been sponsoring Film Festival since 1980 and we are very proud to be a partner of the Festival de Cannes to develop the industry of entertainment and art in France. Therefore, we are very convinced that with the help of Kunle Afolayan, we will be able to develop as much as we can, a partnership between Air France and Nollywood. At the unveiling ceremony that took place at Inagbe Grand Resorts and Leisure, were Commercial Director, Air France/KLM, Arthur Dieffenthaler; and film producers and promoters such as Tunde Kelani, Mahmood Alli-Balogun and Chioma Ude.
This is more than enough to tell you the richness in the film and the amount of the project, and what it will bring to Nollywood”. Air France Commercial Director said they saw the potential in the film/script and what it will bring to its aviation sector, because the movie will strive to promote cultures within Africa and beyond, it’s a multiqua movie that will unite people around the world. The CEO will gulp a huge amount of money as it will be shot in more than six countries within and outside Africa. The new film is about a new company in Nigeria that desperately needs a CEO to fill the Vacuum in its company and in the process, lots of things happened. According to the producer of October 1, the new movie called “The CEO” will try to restrict any form of piracy because of it huge budget. The movie is about a Transwire Communication is a global phone network with major operation in Nigeria. The CEO, an expatriate, has retired hence the global chairman has decided to send five nominees amongst his most senior level staff across Africa on a Leadership Course in order to determine which one to appoint as the new CEO of Nigeria.
Kola Alabi, Nigerian male, playboy, charming, along with Jomo Wangai, Kenyan male, reserved, troubled, Eloise Toure: Ivorian, female attractive tenacious, YASMIN Raggi: Moroccan female; beautiful, secretive, RIIKARD Van Outen; South African, white, male unassuming, ambitions. Although they all appear cordial and chumming with each other, they all know what is at stake, they each desperately want the CEO’s chair. And to this purpose, they attempt to covertly out do one another throughout the duration of the course. One by one, each candidate begins to be eliminated, until there are only 2 left. It then turns into a psychological game of sudden death. But who is really behind the mysterious and fatal occurrences? It is obvious that some one is trying to stab everyone else in the back. So as to assist themselves for the prime position, a candidate who will go the extent of murder in order to emerge as the new CEO.
