LAGOS DEPUTY GOVERNOR IS BEREAVED

The death has been announced of Alhaji Jimoh Kareem-Laka Orelope, father of the deputy governor of Lagos State, Mrs Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire. Aged 101, the Orelope patriarch will be buried today, in accordance with Islamic rites. He was born to Akeja Oniyanru and Olugbede Royal families of Lagos State February 25, 1913. The deceased is survived by wife, children, grandchildren and great grand-children.
