Fire Guts Bayelsa Governor’s private residence in Yenagoa

According to ThisDay report, the private home of Bayelsa State governor, Seriake Dickson, was engulfed by a midday fire this Thursday.

It took the quick intervention of men of the state fire service and security operatives guarding the premises to put out the fire around 1pm.

As at the time of the report, the cause of the fire was not known.

The governor was however away in Abuja when the incident occurred.
